Yates doesn’t puff but he still takes smoke breaks to get air and get out of the basement
He got into some trouble so they won’t let him fly
He’s such a sweet kid I don’t know why
He’s been tending bar at a scrappy new spot
Now books all the shows, call the shots

But our late night town that’s dead at 5pm
Takes off at 12:30 then we start again

No one there listens though he’s got things to say
